W Amsterdam launches search for W Insider
AMSTERDAM – May 6th, 2015 – W Hotels today announced its search for the W Insider ahead of the brand’s highly anticipated launch in Amsterdam this September. An integral role at all W Hotels, the W Insider connects global jetsetters and local tastemakers to what’s new and next in each city and destination, revealing the hottest design, fashion and music experiences.
As an industry innovator, W Hotels prides itself on bringing cutting-edge insights and innovation to some of the coolest destinations in the world. This year, Amsterdam will step into the spotlight as the brand brings its signature contemporary, design-led lifestyle style to the Dutch capital. As a switchboard of cultures and avant-garde ideas, W Amsterdam will act as a creative incubator for showcasing the city’s emerging talents, with the W Insider leading the way and setting the tone to deliver amplified experiences in unexpected ways.

The search for the W Insider at W Amsterdam will kick off on April 30th. Interested applicants should follow @WAmsterdamHotel on Twitter or Instagram and share three unique images that show what’s new/next in this vibrant and cutting-edge city through the lens of W Hotels’ key passion points of design, fashion and music and use the hashtag #WAmsterdamInsider. The submissions will be judged by an illustrious panel of leading Dutch influencers including Mariette Hoitink, co-founder of the Jeans School and Karin Swerink, editor-in-chief of Vogue Netherlands.
The panel, which also includes the hotel’s General Manager, will select the 10 most engaging and creative submissions. Shortlisted candidates will join an exciting casting session where they will be pushed to think outside the box and prove that they exemplify the essence of W Amsterdam’s core values and have insider access to what’s new and next in Amsterdam.
